On June 8, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the operation of the national photovoltaic manufacturing industry from March to April 2023.

From March to April 2023, my country's photovoltaic industry will maintain a high operating rate. According to the company information announced by the photovoltaic industry norms and the calculations of industry associations, the national output of polysilicon, silicon wafers, batteries, and modules has increased by more than 72% year-on-year.
In terms of polysilicon, the national output from March to April was about 210,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 72.1%. Regarding silicon wafers, the national production is about 88.1 GW, a year-on-year increase of 79.8%.
In terms of batteries, the national output of crystalline silicon batteries is about 79.9GW, a year-on-year increase of 81.6%. In terms of components, the national output of crystalline silicon components is about 74.1 GW, a year-on-year increase of 92.5%.
From March to April, the export volume of photovoltaic products nationwide exceeded US$10.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 29.3%. The cumulative export volume from January to April exceeded US$19.3 billion, an increase of 18.9% year-on-year.
