At present, chemical battery is the battery with the widest range of use and application, which is closely related to human social and economic activities, and is also the main variety of battery exports in my country. Among them, lithium-ion batteries belong to one of the sub-categories of secondary batteries in chemical batteries.

A lithium-ion battery is a rechargeable battery that mainly relies on the movement of lithium ions between the positive and negative electrodes to work. During the charging and discharging process, Li+ intercalates and deintercalates back and forth between the two electrodes: when charging the battery, Li+ is deintercalated from the positive electrode, intercalated into the negative electrode through the electrolyte, and the negative electrode is in a lithium-rich state; the opposite is true during discharge. Asia Pacific and America are the main export destinations

In terms of export volume, at present, the number of lithium-ion batteries exported from my country to Asian countries and regions far exceeds that of other countries. In 2020, the number of lithium-ion batteries exported from China to Hong Kong, my country will be 505 million; 402 million pieces; 351 million pieces exported to India; 169 million pieces exported to the United States; 109 million pieces exported to South Korea. Of the top five regions, only the U.S. is not in Asia Pacific.
From the perspective of battery export value, at present, the region with the highest export value of lithium-ion batteries in China is the United States. In 2020, the value of lithium-ion batteries exported to the United States is 2.486 billion US dollars, accounting for 15.60% of the total export value. Hong Kong, Germany, Vietnam and South Korea closely, accounting for 11.68%, 9.31%, 9.09% and 8.96% of the export value respectively.

From the point of view of battery export destination, currently. my country's lithium-ion batteries are mainly exported to Asia Pacific and the Americas. In terms of price, the price of products exported to the Americas is significantly higher than that of the Asia-Pacific region, mainly because the demand for lithium-ion batteries in the Americas region is higher than that in the Asia-Pacific region.
