Water supply for your home

Solar pumps are used in private houses, cabins, villages, medical clinics, etc. The pump can be powered by its own photovoltaic array or the main system that powers the lighting equipment. An elevated storage tank can be used, or a second pump called an increased pump can provide the necessary water pressure. Or the main battery system can provide storage space instead of a storage box. When sunlight is lacking, collecting rainwater can supplement solar energy. When designing the system, it helps to view the entire picture and consider all resources.

Livestock water

Their water sources are scattered on vast grasslands, where there are few power lines, and transportation and maintenance costs are high. Some ranchers use solar pumps to distribute water through miles (over 5 kilometers) of pipelines. Others use portable systems, which they call moving from one water source to another.

Solar water pumps are used for small farms, orchards, vineyards, and gardens. It is most economical to cascade directly from PV (without battery) for pumping. It is the most economical to store water in a water tank and then distribute the water by gravity flow. Where filtering is required, the battery can stabilize the voltage to achieve stable flow and distribution, and storage tanks can be omitted. The battery will bring cost, complexity, and additional maintenance to the system.
